Maybe someday, I would pass him by.
We’ll both smile at each other, but we’ll never know.
Maybe the smell from him, that Grandfather smell when he hugged me,
would still be there, somewhere in the air, helping my nose,
maybe his fingers would caress mine, a sense of belonging springing for a momentary moment,
Or maybe we’ll never know, and maybe that’s how it should be.
