For the uninitiated, the American Psychiatric Association primes narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) as someone who has a lack of empathy towards others and has a great need to be admired by others. This grandiose sense of self-importance, coupled with entitlement, can easily be a dangerous thing, especially if the person with NPD is your corporate bigwig.
