…ghed at me, but I’d backpacked all over Southeast Asia in my 30s, sharing huts with snakes and rats. I lived in Cambodia for eight years, and often flew to Bangkok alone. Traveling to Kuala Lumpur was no big deal. A taxi to Vietnam was routine travel. Ferries in storms! Sharks in the water! I was that traveler.
