I love to read & research articles about successful women. So on a visit to Dallas, I visited the Mary Kay Museum in Addison, Dallas.
So today, I share the Mary Kay Ash success story.
On May 12, 1918, Mary Kay was born in Hot Wells, Harris County, Texas. She grew up in Houston, Texas.
There is more history about her early years, her family, the motivation she received from her mother, & the illness of her dad, but I start with her ambition & success.
The belief is that no one has created as many wealthy & successful women as Mary Kay Ash has done!
Despite a significant setback with the loss of her husband & business partner in 1963, Mary Kay plunged forward with the help of her son, Richard.
As a result, the doors of her business, ‘Mary Kay Cosmetics,’ opened on schedule in 1963.
Her Golden Rule is her guiding philosophy and plan for success. She set her goal to provide women with an unlimited opportunity for personal & financial success.
