It was a delightful adventure & I made new friends!

Tour Group of July 23 to July 31, 2022-Author’s photo at Seward Alaska.

The Flights, hotel stays, tips, and most meals are included in the total fare. Travel insurance is optional. However, most folks on this excursion preferred to pay the insurance premium.

The flight was from DFW to Seattle.

Then we changed flights from American to Alaska Airlines.

It was a delight having my granddaughter as my companion. Her chatter made the eight-hour trip seem shorter. We had much to talk about as I had not seen her for a year.

We arrived in Fairbanks at midnight! It was daylight in this Alaskan city, at 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

The taxi ride to the Westmark hotel, Fairbanks, was delightful as the driver informed us of activities in the city for that day.

We had time to sleep, have a good breakfast & then explore parts of the city since the welcome dinner was not until 7 pm when all the group members would have arrived.

At 10 am, we joined the locals on the street watching the Annual Fairbanks parade.
