A Creative Twist by Maggie.

Maggie and Greg, a young married couple:

Maggie shares the devious trick she played on her husband, Greg. Determined to retaliate against his recurrent weekend absences spent leisurely playing golf, leaving her behind toiling away in the kitchen and tidying the house.
She concocted a plan.

On a Saturday before Greg left for a round of golf, Maggie wrote a note in large black letters to see her husband’s reaction. The note stated,

“I’m leaving; I’m not coming back.” She left the note on the table while she hid under the bed and waited for her husband.

Greg noticed the note, read it, and wrote something on it. He began to hum a cheerful tune. After collecting his gear, he picked up his cell phone and called someone. Maggie, hiding under the bed, heard Greg say,

“I’m on my way now. Crazy Maggie is gone, and the problems are over. I love you so much.”

Greg left, got into the car, and drove away.
Upset, angry, and grieving, Maggie picked up the note and read what he had written.

“I see your legs under the bed. I will bring bread. Don’t go crazy and make something for dinner.”
