…sad as it sounds, all of her friends have passed on but her cookie-making hasn’t slowed down at all. Today, she gives them to the fire department, to nursing homes (for the “old people” she tells me), and to each household in our family. My husband and I take trays to work to share and to the parties, we attend all through the season.
