Water!
My Doctor Said Drink Water!
“What type of water is the best, Sir?” I ask politely. “Oh, go look it up and drink any water daily,” he retorts, and I follow-up to do my water research.
What’s the difference between regular water and mineral water? I assumed all water has minerals.
Let us see what minerals are in the water and if there are side effects.
Mineral Water:
The FDA regulates mineral water.
It must come from a geological and physical underground source.
The content has 250 parts per million (ppm) dissolved solids.
The minerals have to occur naturally at the source.
Manufacturers may add carbon dioxide to make it bubbly. Removal of toxins, like Arsenic, is essential.
Minerals in Mineral Water:
Magnesium: supports the nervous system & muscular activities. It also supports healthy blood pressure.
Calcium: good for bone, blood, and cell health.
Chlorine: aids digestion.
Sodium: promotes cell health.
Potassium: is good for the neuromuscular system.
Phosphorous: helps with the transport of energy.
