Do animals have feelings?
Animals have empathy — there is no doubt!
These endearing creatures display compassion towards humans & other animals in a multitude of ways, including comforting, grieving, and rescuing each other from harm at their own expense.
Carl Safina, an environmentalist writer, who is an ardent animal watcher, reports in an interview saying;
“I am struck by how similar to humans animals are, I am touched & impressed by their bonds. Working close with animals I am convinced that they have a wide array of emotions & feelings.”
“Most scientists agree that animals are conscious beings that experience varying degrees of emotional responses. These feelings play a major role in their lives & survival.”
