This story is tragic. It is painful to witness mental health issues in the aged and there is nothing to appease them but drugs to quiet the cursing, restless screaming & fighting. I worked in a geriatric unit and my sister-law had dementia. It broke my heart as she was such a vibrant lady. I will write about her one day when the pain is gone although I cry whenever I think about her, like right now. God knows why this happens.
