to her unruly student;

Positive inspiration for your life — Unknown Author.

Isabella brought this picture from her teacher yesterday. She wants to know how to be a better student & person. Her teacher says she is disrespectful in class, interrupting when other students ask questions.

I look at the picture & suggest an idea to the twelve-year-old;

“We can get an understanding of how to achieve these goals & practice them daily,” She is eager to learn & so we talk about the virtues she needs to embrace:

First, you have to be honest with yourself & with others.

Second, knowledge is a vital key to self-respect.

Third, you must be serious about your education and have a study plan.

Fourth, to be healthy & feel your best, good nutrition & exercise is vital.

Fifth; Learn to listen to what others have to say, respect their beliefs.

Sixth, common courtesy, and good manners, for example, saying thank you, excuse me, pardon me, & sorry. These are basic courtesies in daily life with others.

People will respect you for your good manners & proper conduct. Always take responsibility for your actions. It means to apologize if you are in the wrong.

Seventh, Choose & emulate friends who are good influencers.
