for the Senior Citizens.

It was 7.45 am Monday, and a line-up of seniors stood at the supermarket door, waiting. It was bargain shopping for seniors. The ads read 50 % off all purchases! They could not contain their excitement — chattering about what their money will buy—senior men with walking canes & a few women with electric scooters, in line at the front door.

A young lad arrived & headed to the front door of the store. Before he could reach the front of the line, he was forcefully pushed back to the curb by an old lady who threatened him with her walking cane.

“Your turn is at ten am-laddie,” she yelled. The young man tried again to get to the door, but the lady in the scooter blocked him. With a loud voice, he shouted;

“If you old folks prefer to stand out in the cold, I will not unlock the door for you to get in today. Now, what is it to be?”

So the line moved back for the young man to open the door & everyone got a hearty laugh at their folly.

Thank you, readers, for viewing my article.
