Who is this Man?

Sara offers daycare in her home. She cares for four three-year-old boys while their moms are at work.

A man stands at a distance to watch the kids play in her yard. Sara has noticed him for the past three days. She never lets the kids out of her sight. She thought of calling the police at one time, but since he was outside the fence, she kept vigilance.

Sara described him, as being ordinary, somewhat sad demeanor, about mid-seventies with a stooped posture & a slow walk.

She informed all the Moms & asked if there was any connection & if they could identify him. But, of course, no one had a clue. It made everyone nervous.

Yesterday, Sara could not contain herself. She placed the kids & the dogs in the house, & kept one dog next to her & beckoned to the man saying;

"Hello, mister, what do you want? Why are you staring at the kids in my yard every day? I have cameras out here watching & the cops are on the alert."

The man came a little closer to the fence, within hearing distance. He said,

“I am Philip Jacobs SNR. I am a vet with stage four cancer. I know you are Sara & the brown-headed boy is my grandson's boy. His dad died in Afghanistan two years ago. He was not married to Felicity, the boy's mother. I come here to…
