A Premonition of death.

A memorial inscription of deceased artisan.

The deceased was a skilled craftsman with a unique talent. He was my son-in-law’s 63-year-old brother.

His artistic talent was in design and landscaping ideas that used concrete architecture to beautify ordinary gardens and yards into masterpieces!

Here is a compelling example of this type of design.

The man and his wife enjoyed a happy marriage. They have five grown children, all with successful careers.

Reginald was known by all who knew him for his talent and as a God-fearing, kind man.

In the last six years, he has battled pancreatic cancer. Despite his pain and frequent need for treatments, he remained welcoming and pleasant when friends and family visited.

On one occasion, he answered a question about his condition by saying:

“The Lord has sustained me with good health and a loving family most of my life. I have no reason not to carry this cross as Jesus suffered so much more.”
