How Gabriella Changed his Behavior.
At our monthly Group Bible study class:
Attendees are encouraged to discuss their concerns, which are added to our prayer list for contemplation and resolution through prayer.
Gabriella, a 44-year-old lady, always comes to class alone. We pray for her because she’s worried about her husband Josef’s excessive drinking.
She’s afraid that he will develop alcohol use disorder if this continues. Although he has attended counseling sessions at Alcoholics Anonymous, they have only provided temporary relief and have not been successful in the long term.
But in May this year, Gabriella and her husband, 50-year-old Josef, attended class together. We were delighted!
We shared some snacks, and Josef introduced himself with a powerful statement about his nine weeks of sobriety, the longest period he has achieved. He began by expressing gratitude for the support of his wife.
