The day when no one saw a thing!
A shocking true story!

These days, when guns are killing so many good folks, my friends are discussing the issue of deaths by firearms.
So Jeff says, "There is nothing new in American culture about this issue. Let me tell you a true story among many I know."
He Tells:
Ken McElroy was an adult man known as the bully of Skidmore, Missouri. He lived from 1934 to 1981.
He committed assault, child molestation, rape, burglary, and hog & cattle rustling.
Strange as it may seem, he was never convicted of these crimes & was released every time on bond.
Then, he raped 12-year-old Trena Mccloud.
Because her parents refused to allow the marriage, he shot their dog & burned their house and married Trena as his fourth wife.
At age 14, the pregnant Trena ran back to her parent's home, but this bully brought her back & burned down her parent's house & reshot the poor dog!
It was common for him to get into arguments with the local grocer, a 70-year-old man & on one occasion, Ken shot the grocer.
Fortunately, the man did not die.
Then the police arrested Ken but rereleased him on bond again.
He had been released by the police 21 times after different dangerous & anti-social behaviors. This evil man threatened anyone sympathizing with the grocer. Even the minister had threats leveled against his life.
One day, McElroy & Trena had a few drinks at a bar in town. No one would talk to them, so they left the bar & got into their pickup truck & drove off.
When Trena looked in the side-view mirror, she saw a crowd of 30 to 40 people gathered behind them.
Before she could utter a sound, the shooters in the crowd riddled the truck with bullets.
Then she looked over & saw McElroy was dead from a shot in the back of his head.
No bullet struck Trena. She was uninjured!
Finally, the police were on the scene, only to find a deserted town with no soul in sight!
