Marcie, The Acrobatic Calico Kitty!

My six-year-old calico kitty, Marcie, enjoys the best of both worlds. She stays in my sunroom at night, during bad weather, and for naps during the day.

She spends most of the day on the rooftop or in the trees in pleasant weather.

Marcie loves the outdoors. During the day, she follows me around or watches birds, squirrels, people, and traffic from the roofs of the house or the shed.

Here she is on the roof of the house.

This agile kitty scales the fence in one stride to reach the shed’s roof. Then, she jumps eight feet from the shed’s roof onto the house’s roof, and vice versa!

I watch how she prepares herself for the jump. It is fascinating!
