The cat in the box!
Is not a fox or a pair of socks!
Understanding feline behavior can be challenging at times.
I have five cats, rescued as baby kitties, who are now adult cats, the joy of my life! They all love boxes, catnip & their mom, the giver of food!
They sleep in a cattery with shelves & large windows at night. Each kitty has a soft bed & the cattery has heat & cooling.
During the day, they play in my enclosed yard and nap & snack in my sunroom.
Here are three best friends!
Two of my grandkids are allergic to cat hair. Therefore, the kitties do not come into the main house.
I have three different kinds of scratch posts in the cattery, the sunroom & on the fence in the yard. But they scratch on the insulated wood walls, cardboard boxes, & sunroom furniture. And that is ok. They are cats, after all.
I store some cardboard boxes in the sunroom. So, now these kitties have adopted different size boxes as their hideouts, or as my Vet says, it is for their comfort zone.
