But no coming together to attempt even partial solutions
A nation that possesses nuclear weapons
And armed forces with numerous sophisticated weapons
Capable of devastating whole nations
That has local, county, and state police
Feels compelled to allow its civilians
To arm themselves with assault weapons
Whose sole aim is to kill other people
