What are the Challenges for the Next Generation?

Mason and friends with his teacher at Day School 9/2024.

My Thoughts and Concerns:

On the news, I witnessed CNN's Kit Maher questioning Senator Vance about his strategy to halt the epidemic of school shootings in the wake of the devastating tragedy at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, where a teenager senselessly claimed the lives of four individuals.

The question was asked during the Senator's campaign visit to Phoenix on September 5th.
I was distraught when the Senator responded by saying that school shootings are 'just a fact of life.'

Such a response is not acceptable. We have a responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of our children.

Vance criticized sensible gun safety reform, as posted by the Harris campaign on social media.

His rhetoric left me feeling most disappointed.

The 'fact of life' response is hard to accept because it brings pain. I hope he misspoke.
Undoubtedly, he must deliver a response befitting a responsible parent and esteemed Senator.

In conclusion:
