The Enchanting World of Fireflies and Glowworms:

A Summer Night Luminescence!

We step outside on a glorious summer night to witness thousands of unique flying insects flashing in unison. It’s a breathtaking spectacle!
As we relax on the veranda, Kate, our passionate entomologist, shares captivating stories about fireflies and glowworms.

She informs us that these are not flies but soft-bodied beetles from two families. There are 130 species found in the U.S.
