Food for thought.

“So what did you learn in Bible study today, young man?” I asked my grandson at lunchtime today.

“Mike told us a story about two wolves. Do you want to hear it, Gram?”

“Oh, yes, please tell!” and the teen proceeds.

The battle is between two wolves inside us:

One is evil:

It is anger, envy, & jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority & ego.

The other is good:

It is having joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

Then Christopher raised his hand & asked;

“Is the battle between two equally strong wolves? — so who wins?”

And Mike said, “It is the one you feed, Chris, be mindful of your actions every day, & do not feed the evil wolf.”

“I do like the story. Thank you, grandson.”

Thank you, readers, for viewing my article.
