The Cat Breed:

Sokoke cats are a natural breed that developed without human intervention. This indigenous cat lives in the Arabuko-Sokoke forest in Kenya.

Researchers reveal this kitty is one of the rarest cats in the world. No more than 100 cats can be found on the planet.

The cat has an exotic coat pattern resembling a tree’s bark. This unique tabby pattern comes from the agouti gene. (the hair color pattern is described as having patches of alternating dark & light bands.)

The kitty is known to be athletic, intelligent & friendly. They can learn tricks & can play fetch.

A domesticated Sokoke is known to be a ‘ chatterbox’ to its owner & loves to cuddle.

The cat is well-developed with a broad chest & pronounced neck. Its well-built shoulder muscles provide strength & agility.
