Mason's Story.
A Smile to melt a heart of stone
Great grandma's pride and joy!
I had the privilege of spending time with the wee boy after a preschool outing. What a joy!
Mason is an endearing little boy. He articulates well and has excellent pronunciation. He knows the names of all the dinosaurs while I struggle to pronounce them.
In September, Mason went on his first adventure outing with the preschoolers in his age group. I was eager to hear about his experience and asked where they went and what he learned.
Without hesitation and with excitement in his little voice, he said,
"We saw the noisy chickens on Mr. Larry's farm. Some hens laid eggs, and two roosters made a lot of noise. Pauline and Judy took the eggs to the kitchen."
"What did you do?" I asked curiously.
"I didn't want to touch the eggs because there was poop on the ground near them.
Mr. Larry said the poop is good for plants and fruit trees. The roosters make a lot of noise to warn the hens about dangers. They also crow early in the mornings to greet the new day and show how strong they are.
Mr Larry said eating eggs gives us strong bones and muscles.
