In 2018, a Montréal father forgot to take his six-month-old baby to daycare and instead left him in the car all day parked outside his work. It wasn’t until he went into the daycare to pick up the child at 5:30 pm that he was told his baby was never dropped off in the morning. The man had driven from his work to the daycare with the lifeless body in the car.⁵
