But I cry when I learn about an injustice!

I was fraught with sorrow when I learned about the electric chair death of the 14-year-old boy, George Stinney, wrongfully convicted of the murder of two girls.

The story occurred in 1944, but it tore at my heartstrings & I wept sorrowfully. I put my thoughts & emotions in the mind of this young boy facing death in the electric chair for a murder he did not commit.

The fear he felt must have been incomprehensible!

Why dear God? was he told to sit on a bible to elevate him in the chair as he was too small to fit.

Folks, If you are not aware of the story, this is what I read & watched on video that caused my sorrow about his execution on June 16th, 1944, at 7.30 pm:

George Stinney was prepared for execution by electric chair, using a bible as a booster seat because he was too small for the chair.

He was then restrained by his arms, legs, and body to the chair.

(Forgive them, Lord, they know not what they do!)

An officer asked George Stinney if he had any last words to say, but he shook his head.
