William Henry Gates lll is an American businessman, investor, philanthropist, writer, and the co-founder of the software company Microsoft. He is commonly known as Bill Gates.

He was invited to deliver a speech at a high school in . Upon his arrival by helicopter, he presented eleven points from a prepared document to the graduating class.

After reading everything in less than 5 minutes, the audience applauded and thanked him. What he had written and read to the graduates was very interesting.

Gates said:

Life isn’t easy — get used to it.

The world is not concerned about your self-esteem. The world expects you to do something useful for it BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

You will not earn $20,000 monthly once you leave school. You won’t be a company vice president with a car and phone available until you’ve managed to buy your own car and phone.

If you think your teacher is rude, just wait until you have a boss; they won’t have any sympathy for you.
