Since 2010, Linda Brown and her husband, David, have been the guiding light of a nightly drop-in shelter in Springfield. Here, individuals experiencing homelessness find not just a warm meal and clean clothes but also a place to connect, rejuvenate, and feel the warmth of community through activities like bingo and karaoke.

In 2018, with the incredible support of the Springfield, MO community, they raised $4.75 million to bring Eden Village to life. This remarkable achievement shows the power of community and the incredible things that can be accomplished when people come together with a shared vision. The gracious community continues to inspire and uplift one another, working towards creating positive change in the world.

Transforming an abandoned mobile home park into a charming hamlet, complete with tiny houses designed to provide permanent housing for homeless individuals with chronic disabilities, represents a powerful and compassionate solution to a pressing social issue!
