I know this is lovely and serene as I spend many days on the farm my son-in-law owns.

… here in the suburb I have at times envied the peace and quiet and the simplicity they have found. 
I’m sure it’s lovely to be able to see many more twinkling stars in the dark country sky and to hear the frogs croaking around the pond instead of the distant drum of traffic from a highway, or a neighbor's barking dog. 
But for us, the trade-offs just aren’t worth it.
