…been fortunate to have been born here
For its benefits are many
Its heart mostly in the right place
But my faith is not tied to a political party
In God alone I trust
I believe that we are not meant to rely on an afterlife to resolve all injustice
I and you are intended to do whatever we can
To bring about the Kingdom here and now
Our work has been made more difficult
But giving up is not an option
Even small acts of kindness can make a difference
