Here is a History of a Special Group of folks Born 1930 to 1946.
Some Interesting Facts for You or Someone you know in the age range from 75 to 90 years.
They are the smallest group of children born since the early 1900s.
These folks are the last generation, climbing out of the depression. Yet, they remember the winds of war and the devastating impact the world at war had on our daily lives for many years.
- Many of them recall the rationing of everything from gas, sugar, shoes to stoves.
- They saved tin foil and poured fat into tin cans.
- They saw cars up on blocks because tires were not available.
- They reminisced about the early morning delivery of milk on the porch of homes.
- They are the last to see gold stars in the front windows of grieving neighbors whose sons died in the war.
- They are the last generation who spent childhood without television. Instead, you imagined what you heard on the radio.
- There was no city playground for kids & no “little league” clubs. So instead, they played outside.
- Internet & Google did not exist.
