He is a well-balanced, beautiful person who has known defeat, suffering, and depression. He survived the struggle against poverty and being on the wrong side of the law.
The death of his mother and also the woman he loved affected his life greatly. But he has found a way out of the depths of the failure & loss to attain brilliant success.
He has become an educated, sensitive individual with compassion and concern for the less fortunate. He shows an understanding of life. His writing shows sensitivity and deep loving respect for the men he teaches & counsels in prison.
I celebrate Charles overcoming racial prejudices and his motivation to follow his dream and qualify as a tech expert. He helps people in need, finding hope and compassion in dark places. He believes that human suffering ends at the intersection of understanding and hope. What an exemplary individual!
